How we started and where we're going

We launched in 2019 after seeing too many talented artists struggle with outdated tutorials and fragmented resources. The gap between what students learned and what studios actually needed was frustrating to watch. So we built something different—courses designed around real production pipelines, taught by people who've shipped games.

What drives our approach

Every lesson we create starts with a simple question: would this actually help someone land their first job or level up in their current role? We focus on techniques that studios use today, not yesterday. Our instructors work in the industry, so they know which skills matter and which ones don't.

  • Clear progression from fundamentals to advanced techniques without overwhelming beginners
  • Industry-standard workflows using the same tools and methods professional teams rely on
  • Honest feedback on student work to help identify what needs improvement

Who teaches these courses

Our instructors have worked on everything from indie passion projects to AAA releases. They understand the pressure of tight deadlines and the satisfaction of seeing your work in a finished game. That experience shapes how they teach—practical, focused, and grounded in reality.

We're based in Pretoria but our students come from everywhere. Time zones don't matter when you're learning at your own pace. Whether you're just starting out or looking to specialize in environment art, character modeling, or prop creation, the courses are structured to meet you where you are. Ask us anything about the curriculum or career paths.
